Multichannel Selling with AI: Managing Etsy, Shopify and Amazon from One Panel

Multichannel Selling with AI: Managing Etsy, Shopify and Amazon from One Panel

Depending on a single marketplace is risky: an algorithm change or an account restriction can cut your sales overnight. Selling the same product on several channels such as Etsy, Shopify, Amazon and eBay spreads that risk. The challenge is that each channel has its own title rules, search logic and fee structure. AI can speed up this repetitive work, if you use it well.

1. Every channel speaks a different language

  • Etsy: titles of up to 140 characters and 13 tags of up to 20 characters each. Buyers look for handmade and personalised items; the title should lead with the use and the audience.
  • Amazon: title, bullet points and a hidden search terms field. Words that break category rules can get a listing suppressed.
  • Shopify: your own store, where the page title and meta description matter for search engines. Keep titles around 60-70 characters and descriptions around 150-160.
  • eBay: an 80-character title limit, and item specifics carry a lot of weight in search.

2. Where AI really helps

The AI tools in the Igora panel save the most time in three areas:

  1. Design ideas and images: give it a niche or theme and it can create design drafts and product images. These drafts are a starting point; you still need to check that they print well and are original.
  2. Listing copy: drafts titles, descriptions and tags for the same product that follow each channel's rules, so you do not rewrite the same text four times.
  3. Analysis and ideas: looks at your store data and trend signals and suggests which products could be pushed.
AI writes a good first draft; the final decision should be yours. Every title and design you publish is the responsibility of your store and your account.

3. Pricing: every channel costs something different

Selling the same item at the same price everywhere is often not profitable, because the deductions differ:

  • Etsy: charges a listing fee, a transaction fee on the item price and shipping, and payment processing fees.
  • Amazon: charges a referral fee that varies by category; some account types also pay a monthly fee.
  • Shopify: a monthly subscription and payment processing fees; no marketplace commission, but you have to bring the traffic.

For each channel, do this simple calculation: sale price − channel fees − production and shipping cost = net profit. You can see the production and shipping cost per product in the panel. Channel fees change from time to time, so check current rates on each marketplace's own pages.

4. One panel: what to automate

Once your stores are connected to the Igora panel, these run automatically:

  • Orders from every channel are collected in one list,
  • Orders for matched products are sent to production,
  • Tracking numbers are passed back to the right marketplace.

You should still control: matching new products with the production partner's products, the final text published on each channel, prices, and designs that carry trademark or copyright risk.

5. A short plan to get started

  1. Start on one channel, for example Etsy, with 10-20 products and find out what sells.
  2. Move the products that sell to a second channel, with copy adapted to that channel's rules.
  3. Calculate net profit separately for each channel and set prices accordingly.
  4. Use AI drafts, but always read them before publishing.
